The Operation

Klockarberg School in Skinnskatteberg is beautifully located in the village, right next to the church with a view of Lake Nedre Vättern. The school is the municipality's only school and has about 370 students in grades F-9. Within the school area, there is a Special Needs School, after-school care, a sports hall, a library, and a cultural school. The goal is to create a safe school with a holistic view and a common value base for parents and children from the time the children start preschool class until they finish grade 9. The school should be characterized by an open and good working climate where students and teachers thrive together. The municipality's smaller size means that decisions are close at hand and the opportunity to influence the development of the operation is great.

Job Responsibilities

As a social pedagogue/resource assistant, you will work with one or more students with special needs and have close collaboration with subject teachers, the student health team, and guardians. You are interested in the overarching work and will belong to a work team where we see you as an important part of a whole that works to ensure that all students achieve their goals.

Qualifications

You are an educated social pedagogue/resource assistant or have another educational background and have experience working with students. You are well acquainted with the governing documents for special needs schools as well as the governing documents for primary schools. You use digital technology as a natural tool in teaching.

Personal Qualities

You have a good understanding of people's different conditions for absorbing knowledge and communicate in a clear manner. We also place great importance on personal qualities and abilities and see that you are communicative and have an easy time building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Working Hours/Duration

The position is a fixed-term employment of 100% and is divided into 80% in class and 20% in after-school care. Start date 2026-04-01 to 2026-12-31, with a possible extension.
